Coming back to wedding photography feels like coming home, not just to the art I love, but to the purpose behind it.
Over the past 18 years I have been providing photography services, I’ve spent countless hours studying, refining, and deepening my craft through formal photography training and hands-on experience across creative fields working up to a Diploma in Art & Creativity (Advanced) Level 7. Every lesson, every Diploma, every late night editing session, and every camera in my hands has shaped how I see the world: through light, emotion, and human connection.
While my roots are grounded in the big skies, rolling paddocks, and timeless beauty of the New Zealand countryside, my heart is drawn to all forms of celebration. From intimate elopements in the mountains, to elegant city weddings, to heartfelt family gatherings by the coast, I approach each story with the same intention: to capture love honestly and artfully, wherever it’s found.
I’m most inspired by couples who want their day to feel genuine and true, relaxed, soulful, and full of laughter. The kind of weddings where moments aren’t manufactured, they’re felt. Whether it’s barefoot vows on the farm, dancing under festoon lights in the city, or quiet tears shared in a seaside chapel, my goal is always the same: to tell your story with heart, authenticity, and respect.
My style blends natural storytelling with a touch of cinematic drama, inspired by film, light, and the emotional nuance of real moments. I work primarily with prime lenses, tools that allow me to move quietly and stay present, capturing genuine emotion without interrupting it. Years of study and experience have taught me not only the technical craft of photography, composition, lighting, and timing, but also the emotional intelligence it takes to read a room, calm nerves, and anticipate the moments that matter most.
For me, wedding photography isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about preserving truth, the love, the energy, the connection that make your day unmistakably yours. Every wedding I’m invited to photograph is a privilege, and I bring all of my experience, care, and creative dedication to ensure the story you receive feels as real and timeless as the love you share.
